NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS
Your neighbors need help! The neighborhood patrol is a group of concerned people who have a common goal to improve the quality of life by eliminating crime. We are the extra eyes and ears for the Omaha Police.
We have three trained Patrols: WALKING, WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
If you would like more information, come to the Citizen Patrol meeting at the Omaha Police Union Hall from 6:00-6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17th. Food and beverage will be available.
The goals of the Citizen Patrol program are:
- To provide an effective method of discouraging neighborhood crimes and “decline.”
- To promote a friendly and safer neighborhood environment while respecting the privacy and rights of all citizens.
- To encourage awareness and provide improved communication among neighbors.
- To upgrade the quality of life and property values in the area.
